Propaganda Poster Assignment Sketches

These are sketches I did for a Propaganda Poster assignment I did for my Poster Design Class.
I still want to  take some of these concepts to finish but I did enjoy the thumbnail process in coming up with a retro recruitment poster from WWII. My only change was to create a poster with  "Rocketeer" like technology and still trying to keep the a 1940's feel...

This was another Celebrity Portrait I had to do for this class.. I did have some  alterations to Harrison since I originally wanted to make him Indiana Jones but the concept was to  create an image of the celebrity as  he is know not as a character so I  settled on him  as a pilot but threw in just a hint of Star Wars..

This assignment was dealing with the celebrity market so we had to work  on drawing celebrities and making it relevant so I decided to do Charlie Sheen because of his recent meltdown...

 Here is another Story Illustration that I did for my Illustration Markets class... I had to do an  scene from the the novel of The Picture of Dorian Gray.

SCAD ARTWORK

Greetings to everyone!  Long time no write! I know... I know... my last post  was during the Reagan   administration but.... just wanted to give an update on what I was doing and start to update some more of my latest work. I am currently enrolled in a Master's program  of Illustration through   Savannah College of Art and Design. This piece was for a future concept piece I was supposed to    develop and this is what I came up with ....so as you can see.... I still want a jet pack..
